The material used for the Cap and Body of this Pen is a one of a kind hand cast blank made by me, using Japanese Washi Tape and Jeweler’s wire. The Washi tape design and Wire color are matched for beauty and harmony. Then carefully hand wrapped around a brass supporting tube, cased in molds, then turned and polished on my lathe. The Ocean Wave Design N001 in green Hues floating on a backdrop of floral accents is stunning. The body’s wave pattern is specifically designed to be in the up position when being used by the writer. The gold within the pattern is iridescent both indoors and in natural light. The Aqua wire is contained under the surface of the Cap and is 3 dimensional in presentation. The rich color and buttery smooth high gloss finish I obtain is always beautiful and very satisfying to the touch.
The Emperor Rollerball Pen Kit I chose to use with this design is one of the finest kits available. The kit features durable plating and a unique and intricate pattern that has been richly coated in 22K Gold. The casting work has been meticulously done by hand, with a lot of care and attention to detail taken at every step in the manufacturing process. The cap finial, body finial, clip, center band as well as accents rings all boast richly carved details that have been accented in gleaming 22K Gold and Chrome.
This Pen is properly balanced and nicely weighted in your hand allowing comfortable and extended writing. I ensure the fit and finish are always flawless. The medium Schmidt steel rollerball ink cartridge writes smooth and silky complimenting your experience.
